This is an original 20x16 abstract portrait painting on a fine quality stretched canvas by me the artist Melody Cole Gates. Sides are painted like the front for a frameless presentation. Created in 2025, it arrives signed and ready-to-hang!
The artwork depicts an African American woman in a folksy pop art style, titled “Natural Vibes”. There are vivid details throughout this hand-painted piece with lots of passionate brushstrokes done in acrylics, including earthy tones of browns, greens, yellows, reds, and a little gray. The canvas is a little curved at the bottom right which can be seen in the last photo.
